Our Priorities are
The best technology possible
The Seed Terminator's Multi-Stage Hammer Mill technology (Patent Pending) incorporates Aero-IMPACTTM technology for efficient low turbulence aerodynamic impact mechanism. The Aero-IMPACTTM technology provides the impact needed to kill over 90% annual ryegrass seed (The University of Adelaide) while maintaining a low power draw.
Mechanical Drive System (Patent Pending) incorporates Smooth-FeedTM technology to prevent material blockages. It is driven from the harvesters engine. It is as simple as possible by minimising moving parts, incorporating only shafts, belts and gearboxes. It is highly efficient with minimal transmission losses.
The combination of the Multi-Stage Hammer Mill and Mechanical Drive System is a system that is simple robust and efficient. The power draw is low enough to allow for attachment to Class 7 grain harvesters.
This technology is only the beginning for Seed Terminator, we will continue to invest heavily in to Research and Development to continue to provide better solutions to grain producers
As many farmers as possible
Farms are of all different sizes, unique conditions, unique business models. However, farmers all have a common enemy in weeds. We believe that everyone should be able to access technology that can provide control of their weed seeds. It is our commitment to have a solution for:
1) different size harvesters (Class 7-9)
2) different makes and models of harvester
3) different regions
4) different farming sizes
2017 we had machines on John Deere (s690 x 3, s680 x 10) CASE IH (7230 x 2, 7240 x 2, 8230, 8240, 9230, 9240 x 2). In our maiden prototype year (2016) we had prototypes operating on: John Deere (STS9760, 2xS680), CASE IH (7120, 8010, 8120, 9240), New Holland (CR8090, CR9090)
Every region presents a unique challenge of climate conditions, soil types, crop types and weed types. We have prototypes operating throughout Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.
We will continue to seek feedback from growers and challenge ourselves to have a solution for as many farmers as possible.
As quickly as possible
At Seed Terminator we recognised that if we operated in isolation we cannot deliver outcomes as quickly as they are needed by the industry. We have sourced capital, sought manufacturing, assembly and installation partners. Our business model includes farmer investment and research and development. The Seed Terminator works off a closed loop of development, testing feedback.
Seed Terminator is a solution for farmers by farmers
As economically as possible
The Seed Terminator is being positioned for sale in 2018 with a RRP of AUD$97,700 + $15,300-$19,200 for delivery, fit up and attachment kit, making it cost effective for a broad range of growers.
We are constantly adapting our business model, our technology and our approach to best serve the grains industry. Join in the conversation and have your input.
