Andrew & Peter Moore | The art of growing good crops

In this episode, Nick caught up with Peter and Andrew Moore from Horsham, VIC, during his road trip through NSW & VIC in July 2024. The Moore brothers share invaluable lessons passed down from their dad about the art of growing a good crop.

They talk about the importance of "focusing on maximising what we have rather than expanding," a principle that has guided their approach to sustainable farming. They also dive into the pitfalls of shortcuts in farming: "Taken a shortcut, and then you're chasing a bad patch of ryegrass for the next 5-6 years."

The Moore brothers remind us why sustainable practices are worth the effort. As they put it, "We might quit when we get it right.'
